Everytime I have one, the dogs seem really interested. I mean they are interested whenever I have food, but seem intrigued.

Would I be able to give them abit? They have banana, but I know grapes are a no no, so just checking on kiwi really"

To be honest my lot get big turn on with banana and do get a taste most days.

For peace in the home any other human food with the odd exception, I try to avoid sharing not because it is harmful, but I feel it is a tease giving them our food sometimes and other times telling them NO you can't have it.

Also, if we have company for dinner I like to think they know how to behave and up to now all three dogs are respectful when we are eating, there is no drooling or watchful eyes with every morsel consumed, and apart from maybe one of them laying on a visitors foot no scrounging.

Perhaps I am a meany, but at least my lot don't get mixed messages where food is concerned, I know I am 'BA HUMBUG' and a miserable old tyke :( , but I would not share my kiwi fruit

There is no harm in them having the odd bit of fruit (except grapes of course) but what I will say is unless it is pulped/pureed, dogs do not get alot from it. Think its something to do with dogs being unable to process cellulose and pulping it gets round that.

Mine have a small amount of pulped fruit and veg daily as part of their raw diet. When we get back from our morning walk I make them a smoothie with raw eggs, raw goats milk and sometimes banana. My GSP is on the lean side so needs a few extra calories and much healthier than dog biscuits
