Is 9 months just an awkward phase?

Hi all, Toothless is 9 months old and she’s always had this “look” about her in her eyes, and her eyes just seem enormous but seem not aligned. See zoom in pic below- quite frankly she looks quite frazzled half the time. Her regular expression (also pictured below) is so pretty, but when she looks away, her eyeballs don’t look aligned! is it also raising a flag for anyone?

secondly, I’m also wondering if it’s normal for a lab’s proportions to look a “little off” when they are 9 months? Or are they basically done growing at that age?

They can go through gangly stages, my flat coat pup is a couple of months younger and going through just such a phase right now.

As for the expression, I'd be looking at what her parents and grandparents looked like.

Mmm. Yes, at 9 months old her head will still change a little. I always think it's a year before the development finishes. In the case of my Chloe it was even later.

But again her eye alignment does look a little strange. Is one a little lazy as can happen with humans? When one eye looks a little "out of position" if you keep her attention on a fixed point, does the other eye catch up? Thinking is the muscle a bit weak, meaning that it moves into position slower?
