I thought it would be fun to get a thread going on the nick names we call our labs, and the 'should be' names we should have called them :D

Our puppy is called Bradley, which gets shortened to:

- Brad the bear
- Bradders
- Badley (!) when he's been naughty! lol :D
- Mummy's Boy

What we should have called him is:

- Stick gobbler
- Leaf Eater
- Slipper Chewer
- Hoover
- Farty Pants
- Burper

Do You Have Any You Can Share??????

LOL at Bradley's nicknames!

Jake's also called Jakers, Mr Poopyhead, Mr Whiffy and Dribbles.

Can't think what we should have called him!

and
ohJack!

Misty is just a sweetie We call her Misty but also
Misty Critter
Critter
Sweetie
Misty dear
Misty girl

Added w/ edit:
Jack is sometimes referred to as The labradork for some of the goofy things he does

I'm going to add a new 'should be' name to Brad's list, and that is 'the Recycling Bin' - no matter what walk we go on, where we go, he will ALWAYS find a plastic bottle out of the middle of nowhere! He loves them, saves him digging for other stuff too, as once he has found his plastic bottle, it stays in his mouth for the rest of his walk! He's obviously keen to recycle all these discarded plastic bottles!!! :D

Our Chad has a few alternatives...

my little boy loves to shout "CHADDY WADDY WOOOOOOOO!" at the top of his voice!

Meanwhile we are more formal with "Chadwick Merryweather III" (not his kennel name or anything... just sounds good!) or "ChChCh..Chad", he usually comes running to that.

"A pain in the ****!" is usually muttered at times of despair!!

But we love him! :D

Hi everyone
I’m so glad I read this thread I thought it was just me that had loads of nick names for my Ollie now I realise it’s not!
I used to call my Ollie
Ol
Ollie kins
Oliver (done bad things)
Oliver De Clisson (done really bad things)
Chunky (when he was slightly overweight)
Fuzz face
Fuzzy chops
Cheeky chops
Chocolate button
The Canine dynamo (reference for relatives to remember him when planning events)
And of course my special chocolate hound ( I know he’s not a hound but it stuck when he was small!)

I should have called him

The new special edition hoover doover with extra attachment tools for sticky food
Pac dog an alternative for the pac man
Slobber chops

Bradleysmum, I looked at your beautiful tour pictures with Bradley. You are so lucky to able to do this trip.

I love the name Angus and I am glad I picked it. However, I often call him "Bubba" just because I like the name. Also, I call him "Squeeky" because he is constantly squeeking his toys. My dad gave him the nickname, "Sharky" because he is always chewing on my dad's arm. Brenda

Hi Brenda,

Glad you like the photos on our travel website, yes, it sure is lovely touring, we thoroughly enjoy it. Brad does too..he's going to miss it when we return to the UK this June. Mind you, i'm sure he will be very excited moving into a house, so many rooms to explore! Since a young puppy, he has only known our motorhome, and even though it's large there aren't half as many places he can hide as a house! :D

I love the name Sharky, now that's very appropriate hey!

Have fun,

Keep those names coming everyone!

All of our nicknames revolve around Smudge:-

Smudgelet
Smudgey
Smudgster
Smudger

Very seldom do we just call him Smudge! lol!

I can't think of a 'should be' name - black shadow at the moment I think or 'softie' or 'cuddles' because he's just being a big baby - but we love it! He's so cute!

All the best,
Nicola/Nic/Mummy/Hand that feeds me! (Last two from Smudgey!)
