As you say, every day is a bonus. I really wanted Amy to reach her 15th birthday, but she slipped away just 2 weeks short. My oldest dog was a terrier mongrel who was 17 when he died. This was him, my very first dog.

I lost Tau, above earlier this year, aged 15 1/2. She was pretty fit right until the last couple of weeks when she went downhill very quickly. One of the most wonderful memories I treasure is seeing her playing with her great granddaughter, having four generations at the same time was, to me, very special.
