I am thinking of whistle training our labrador puppy Inca when she is old enough. Can you all offer me some tips. What age should I start training her with the whistle? Or do you think I should just train her normally with voice commands?

Amy was 7 weeks old when I got her. The following week, Ann Courtier, the owner of the sire came round to see her and said, "Have you started recalling to whistle yet John?" So I gave a toot toot toot on the whistle and Amy came arunning!

The point is, there is no minimum age. We start teaching a pup to come when it's called right from day one. Whether voice or whistle makes no difference.
