Is vomiting a common issue?

5ry bitch, healthy active and a lovely dog. No treats, cut out the dental sticks etc, basic Harrington's wet and dry meals.

Kept an eye out on walks and didn't seem to eat (crap etc !).

Can't put my finger on the issue.
Any advice gratefully received.

Thanks for replying....

Vomiting.
Usually food 5pm.

All comes back up 2am.

May go four days fine - then this happens again. Out in Garden eating grass etc

But it happens more often now.

Assumed she eating something nasty on a walk etc. But been keeping an eye out and no.

Still full of life tho.

How soon do you feed her before/after exercise? Just be aware that feeding an hour either side of exercise can leave them more prone to bloat, so keep exercise and feeding apart by a good hour.

Vomiting in the early hours sounds like a hunger sort of vomit, is she bringing food back up or yellow bile?

Not quite a month but here's an quick update.

Tarimoor - you may have nailed it

Extended time periods between eating and exercise and all seems well so far. Not had any issues since.

So far so good / happy dog.

Cheers
