Well Sky went for her booster jab and check up today, and I had a couple of things to discuss with me vet!
Sky has had a runny eye as some of you will recall as I asked for advice on here, I did the t bag one, then went onto mild salt water bathing, but it kept weeping. Vet put dye in but no ulceration, put another dye in both eyes and said keep her head down, the left eye drained dye down her left nostril but even after 20 minutes the right eye didn't. So she has a blocked tear duct! We have drops for 10 days then go back, but talk is of an operation under general to clear it!
Sky has got a dark patch on one of her canines at the bottom, vet said its decay and it is more than likely causing her discomfort and should come out! But its a big operation as the tooth is like an iceberg, there is more in the gum than out of it. I have asked if we can have a root filling. Vet is going to find out as it will be a special surgery to do it.
Sky has been weeing when lying down, shes had Propolin and Incurin, vet wants her scanned for crystals that irritate the lining of the bladder!

We only went round for a booster and to maybe get drops for her eye!
Happy New Year bank balance!

Poor you! (And poor Sky of course.) Hop the meds kick in quickly and the eye clears up. Speaking as a human who's had lots of teeth trouble - I would definitely rather have one out than go through a root filling.

Thankyou, I would rather save her canine and hope its a root filling. Its up to the specialist as to how she would cope and whats best for her.

Poor girl. Is there any chance she can get all the treatment done in one go so she only needs one GA?
