A dog which survived for three weeks trapped in a fox snare by licking rainwater from its paws is almost back to full health, its owner says.

Thats amazing but what that poor dog must have gone through being trapped in a cage for 3 weeks :evil: As the owner says traps are supposed to be checked every 24 hrs!

So glad she is back home safe and sound.

They came outside one morning and Bess had "shot off" overnight?
Doesn't sound like Bess was kept securely herself in the first place - I certainly hope the owners amend the way they care for her so that this can't be repeated.

Poor dog though being stuck for 24 days in a fox trap. I agree, it was a blatant disregard for the law, there's a reason they are supposed to be checked daily!

So glad this story has a happy ending!
