How to Play.

Game Starter (ie Mojo) chooses a favourite toy and brings it to Boss Lady (ie Me) to play with. Other Players (ie Pood and Pickle) then have to try and MUG Mojo of said toy before she gets a chance to give it to Mum. Once they have the toy, Phase One-Three Way Tuggies ensues, with much noise and biting of legs and ears. Game Starter, then lets go and pretends to go find another More Interesting toy to play with. This is a deception though, as really she wants the original toy back, as that is the Big Prize. Game Starter then pretends this New Toy is extremely Exciting and the Other Players easily get sucked in and come running, hoping to MUG this toy too. Game Starter puts up a good show of WANTING the New Toy but secretly has her eye on the Original Toy. The moment the Other Players are on the Bait, she lets go, seemingly allowing them to Win but then dashes back to get the Big Prize.

This is where it gets tricky.

Seeing this, the Other Players realise they have been duped and gang up on the Game Starter and after much noise and biting of legs, face, etc the Youngest Player is allowed to Win the Big Prize. But this is only so the Game can go to Phase Two.

Phase Two consists of Youngest Player legging it as fast as she can, weaving in and out of the dining room table and chairs and avoiding being caught at all costs. Game Starter herds her continually, while the Other Player takes up the Stealth Position (hiding round the sofa) and waits until her opportunity to use a Pounce Move. Pouncing has to be timed just right because if it is seen coming, the Youngest Player can turn on a sixpence and out manoeuvre both Players. If caught the Game goes back to Phase One.

Phase Two last for as long as the Youngest Player can keep it up for, or until Boss Lady calls Time by saying "That's Enough", which she does in the event of the game getting too rough or dangerously fast.

Game Over is when Boss Lady takes the Big Prize away, then a Long Nap ensues.

Daisy says she'd like to play that game, but with only and elderly chocolate big bro who likes a quiet life and a pesky cat who's not much use for anything now mum won't let her chase him, she can't. It's a tough life she has!!

Indy would also like to play that game, but doesn't have access to Other Players

We only have the two Players so Boss Lady has to keep well out of the way or gets knocked over in the scrum 8O

Game Starter uses the "New Toy is Best" ploy regularly to fool Youngest (ie only other) Player who never seems to catch on

Boss Lady tries to have harmonious calm synchronized chewing of nylabones but Youngest Player always abandons his and the game starts again

I'm thinking of moving to a padded cell.....

Sounds 'bout right. The Splodge monster is getting better at being a stealth dog but Shadow, being the soft sausage he is, usually gives the first toy up very quickly, chases the Splodge monster under a table then does a BTR, barking every time he faces the Splodge monster 8O

Great to watch in a 12 foot square living room. We very soon realised that curling feet up onto chairs/sofa was the only option when out two play this game
