I thought I'd ask you lot as you actually have dogs and experience proper mud and dirt tracked in rather than the web reviews

I have a very basic steam mop but the floors stay quite wet afterwards and I'm not convinced it's cleaning on the tough stains.

Using a normal mop is fine but again I end up with wet floors which this time of year is a pain.

So over to you please. What do u all use?

Ps I do not clean my floors daily as I just do not have the time or the patience lol

What type of cloth are you using when you steam the floors? I use a microfibre mop with mine and the floors dry really quickly. I got three for about £10 on eBay. I'm no good at doing links but if you could get some to fit your steam mop it would be a cheaper option. The clothes that came with my cleaner left the floor quite wet.

I've got the H20x5

I use the blue thicker microfiber pads if on setting 2or3 the floor is not too wet and dries quite quickly. I've used it on the sofa, I was surprised at how well it worked.
