Ok - so maybe I'm showing off a touch. I want to share this video of my little guy to as many people as possible. I have two videos that are now on Youtube. One is from the day I got him. You can watch that video by clicking on the following link:

The other is from earlier this summer when my now big boy Colt first learned how to swim. I welcome all your comments.

I'm sorry we missed this the first time round, it was probably because it arrived here in the UK at nearly 3am. It wasn't intentionally ignored I'm sure.

What a beautiful area you live in. And what a lucky Lab to have that lovely lake to swim in. He swims like a pro too, considering it was his first time. :D :D

Handsome looking dog and great place to be by the look of it. Lovely way to learn to swim. My Daisy did it in the sea and nearly drowned herself first time - she rushed in after our older dog and promptly disappeared under a rather large wave!! She needed a bit of coaxing for a while after that experience!

Thanks for all the feedback everyone. The video of him learning to swim was taken in St-Donat, a small town around an hour and a half north of Montreal - near the resort town of Mont-Tremblant. Its very pretty up there. The lakes are fantastic! Lots of places for puppies and dogs.

Its only a 6 flight from London!
