Hi! im not sure if i'm posting this in the right place or not. I am looking for a yellow Labrador puppy, however really struggling to find any in Scotland. If anyone knows of anywhere they could direct me to where I might find some luck that would be massively appreciated :)!

Thanks
Cameron

Sorry but with corvid19, and the problems this has brought getting dogs health tested, and difficulties getting vet support if needed, most responsible are not breeding at this time. Sadly the less responsible are still breeding, and taking advantage of the shortfall of puppies by charging 2 to 3 times a realistic price.

Also I'm in the south of the country, so rarely get to hear of dogs in Scotland.

Right now you will struggle, good breeders have put their plans on hold due to the lock down and social distancing. If you are lucky, there may be a breeder who has their own stud dog they were planning to use, but there will not be many taking that chance right now, as you still have to think about puppy socialisation, and, if all health tests are done and up to date. Have a look on Champdogs, but you will probably find the litters where all health tests etc are in place, are spoken for pretty much as soon as the Ad goes up, sometimes before. The only other suggestion is to look at the stud dog section on Champdogs, look for a dog that you like, and if possible, can see what he's producing, and contact the owner to ask if they would mind putting you in touch with any visiting bitches.
