Hi

I'm just concerned about my 9 week old puppy. Summer normally poos quiet often, but so far this morning she hasnt been. She had breakfast but didnt go. She is drinking plenty of water. Over night she had been for 3 poos on the training pad. Am i worrying over nothing

It probably is nothing to worry about but someone else may have more advice for you.

I find Hudson's toilets depend totally on what he's eaten. So if he's had an afternoon munching on a bone, the next day he's a bit runny and the day after a bit bunged up.

When he was a really small puppy his toilets were a bit more erratic and just happened when they happened.

Is it normal for her to poo in the night? Maybe she just doesn't need to go this morning. Have a think about encouraging her to poo outside before bed rather than relying on pads as you'll find it easier to housetrain if Summer understands that toileting should only be done outside.

I won't worry but when she does go OMG it be a show stopper :wink:
