You occasionally get some flecking in the coats of chocolates. I've never seen it in blacks and of course you would never notice it in a yellow.

But then, it's mid summer and this can bleach a coat, particularly the old dead coat.

I can't see a stripe in the photos to be honest, but if she's the companion you wanted then I wouldn't worry too much if she's got a few odd coloured hairs. You do tend to get paler hairs where it's grown back after a wound, so when pups are scrapping in the litter if they cause a scratch or wound then it can grow back paler. My FCR has a few white hairs on her forehead where she was bitten by a cocker spaniel as a pup.
