Well I have tried my best (without a fancy camera) to take a photo showing the whole drive, field, sunflower cover crop and strip of trees. It's definitely one of the better drives on the shoot. Oh and a couple of dogs thrown in for size comparison  :D .

It was very busy out there today with tractors absolutely everywhere. Which was good socialisation training for Spice as all the Tractor Drivers like to stop for a chat (and to check that Rocky will be out picking up this season), but it was too flippin dusty to stay out there for any length of time, so we came back for a cup of tea (any excuse  ).

8O erm I see you have a few more than me on your Shoot lol. Wonderful. So very glad to see the dogs too. Perfect colour they are for sunflowers :love7:

AND you have nice weather today *sob*

Thanks Jill. Think I need to get a bit more industrial about this next year....

I will let you know how it goes this season Helen.

The funniest thing will be trying to find the beaters. Most of them are vertically challenged and will disappear completely in this lot. As I said in my other post all we will see is the tips of the flags 8O .

He he, its really funny when your in tall cover and no one can see you. You just stick your flag up after every couple of whacks and pray that your still in line. Only to come out at the end in a staggered heap, must try harder this year. :D :D
