If you don't, and if ever they get back to your vet and they find out you will lose the insurance and the money you have paid. It needs to be reported as a pre existing condition. Insurance companies are renound for wriggling out of anything they can, which is the reason I wont pay for it. I put the premiums in a bank account and pay the bills myself. That way I'm not paying the wages for the insurance employees, or for their offices, profits and dividends paid to shareholders, or for the huge bills submitted to the insurance by hypochondriacs. (I'm not saying that all large bills are the result of hypochondriacs, but many are. One owner once told me that she had been to her vet yet again, and her vet had said, "Mrs ********, please take your dog home, she's fitter than you are!" :) )

But saying that, was the puppy not insured by the breeder for so long before you brought her? If so then that should cover it.

John :)
