Hi

I will admit I am proud of finding the UK on a world map. But most of the detail stuff to me are just names. I attempted to locate dog friendly places but some of the pages did not specifically mention dogs. Here in the US dog friendly I have found means under 25 pounds of weight. Here are a few sites that may be of interest:

Hi Branwen,

We thought that we would probably take Oscar with us to a rented cottage or something this year, so he has quite a lot of room inside.. in case of rain! :)

When we've been to cottages before we've always been with Hoseasons and have always been impressed.

I know, because I was looking last night, that their website allows you to specify if you want somewhere that you can take a dog.

Their website is :

www.hoseasons.co.uk

They also do lodges and boating holidays if that interested you.

As for the boating holidays Sarah,I was born on the Isle of Anglesey and am scared of water and can't swim so will give that a miss.Dylan would be happy though.

Hi Branwen

A few miles away from Bournmouth, but we take regular weekend breaks in Lyme Regis and stay at a lovely hotel called Hotel Alexandra, Pound Street, Lyme Regis.

The hotel is very dog (and kid) friendly, very close to the sea, centre of Lyme Regis, and the hotel itself is charming.

If you want more details, let me know and I'll send you the link. As a matter of fact we're off there next week, and looking forward to letting Molly have her first swim in the sea (she loves rivers and streams, so it'll be interesting to see what she makes of waves!!!).

Best regards

Mark

Hi Mark, that would be good if you could send me the link,it sounds great and i think Dylan might behave a bit more in a hotel(ha ha) and besides my husband has never been keen on caravans he prefers cottages or hotels.Hope you have a great time and molly will love it as long as she doesnt drink too much sea water. Thanks again, Lynne.
