We went to an international show today. What a buzz.

Poppy, best puppy in breed, very promising AND final cut for Best Puppy in show (all breeds). Gobsmacked, I didn’t quite understand what was happening, but friends watching said we both performed really well.

I felt great, not in the least bit nervous. Those that know me will understand what a huge achievement that is...from agoraphobic to “show queen” in 12 months Lol! I’ve my very great friend, whom I’d like to say was my mentor, Lynda Batlle-Hunter (Springcurl CCR and Sussex) for all her help and inspiration with her simply amazing ringcraft classes. She’s inspired so much confidence, I never knew I could do it.

Freddie got 2nd Place in his class, beaten by a very nice yellow that I absolutely predicted would win. He was classed as excellent which is the most important factor.

Freddie is amazing. Outside the ring he was play fighting with the other dogs in the class. Once he got in the ring he went into work mode and performed beautifully.

That's what dogs do for you. The best therapy in existence!

Congratulations!
You are SO right. They should be on prescription!
