Last evening whilst laying on the floor Ruby had what I can only describe as a kind of sniffing attack. She had been grooming herself and then started sniffing very quickly. It was as if she needed to sneeze but couldn't.
I felt she was beginning to panic a bit too.

I am not sure whether she was trying to breathe through her nose and couldn't. It was like her nose was temporarily blocked. The episode probably lasted less than a minute.

I actually let her outside because I was not sure what was going on or if she was going to be sick. She quickly came back in and laid down as if nothing had happened.

I know I haven't really explained this very well but hope someone might be able to shed some light on this for me.

Many thanks
Chloe

Thank you both for you replies.

Having read the link it sounds exactly like what happened to Ruby.

I now know not to be worried if it happens again.

Thanks again.
