This season seems to have flown by, and I've only got a couple of dates left for me and the girls, well, me and Rhuna, with socialisation for the other girls. We've really enjoyed ourselves, and our highlight so far has been Rhuna retrieving the most enormous *male* pheasant today, which was nicknamed the turkey. She managed to pick it with both wings covering her eyes, which made her route back to me a bit tricky, but we got there.

Hope others have had a good season, lots of training needed for my two youngsters before next season now!!

Yeah we've thoroughly enjoyed it even when the rain been lashing down, gales blowing and freezing cold, "its nice to have a day out" as they say
3 dates left, unfortunately we are gonna miss the next 2 as OH had hip replacement on Saturday but hopefully he'll be more mobile and safe to be left so that I can make the last day of the season
Really enjoyed our first season, will be focusing on mine and Brodies weak areas at training ready for next season (hopefully we'll get invited back)

I've also learnt a very valuable lesson for first timers ..... test how deep the cows muck is by the feeder with your stick BEFORE you step in it, just in case it's deep enough to go over the top of your boots
