Hello everyone.
Sally here. A little black lab lass.
I'm still with my brothers and sisters, giving our mum hell, but I'm going to a new home in January.
The people who are going fill my tum and give me great walks will post a piccy or two when they get me home.

See you all soon. TTFN.

Thanks folks.
I'm sure that I'll be fine.
They've had Labs for years and have, sadly, just lost a good pal.
He was full of life and known to the family, affectionately, as 'Splutter-arse'.
I'm sure that they'll be able to cope with me.

Ooops.
Things have changed.
Originally we wanted a dog rather than a bitch.
All the dogs in the litter had been spoken for so we opted for a bitch.
At the time they were only two weeks old so we weren't able to choose a particular one.
Yesterday we were informed that a dog had become available.
We went across straight away to have a look.

We ended up choosing this little fella and will pick him up towards the end of the month.
So, 'Sally' has become 'Drummer'.

Here he is.

Oops !!!

We initially wanted a dog rather than a bitch.
A couple of weeks ago the breeder informed us that someone had, due to unfortunate circumstances, given back-word on a dog which they'd hoped to have.

The upshot was that we have just picked up our new puppy today.

Please meet Drummer !!

Awwwwwwh!

Exciting and exhausting times ahead!

You can say that again !! :)

We've been married since '65 and have had at least one dog 'on the go', all came to us as pups, for all but the first year.
Some would say that we're gluttons for punishment but we wouldn't want it to have been any other way. :D

Hello :hello2:

Drummer is a super de duper name :eek:ccasion5:
We have had a Lab named Drummer before.
The first Drummer got his name because we had, at the time, a cocker spaniel called Piper.
Piper got his name because he was always 'piping up'. :)
Piper and Drummer got shortened to 'Pipes and Drums'.
You can imagine what fun we had, over the years, calling out their names.
The dogs didn't give a hoot.
