Hello all, been a very long time since posted on here but lost my chocolate lab Barney a few weeks ago, 11.5 and it was all very quick and peaceful.
Was a fabulous 11.5 years and he was a wonderful companion and saw me get married and have two children whom he a loved and they loved him,

goodbye Barno.

It is and especially In the circumstances of COVID. Had to say goodbye in a car park which was devastating for me. 😞

My condolences. I lost my chocolate boy, Jordi, last year 3 days after his 14th birthday. He was my first dog from a puppy and I was/ still am devastated. The way you had to say goodbye must have made it worse. I am so sorry for you.

I have posted this before, it was sent to me when I lost Jordi:

I was just a pup when we first met,
I loved you from the start,
You picked me up and took me home
and placed me in your heart.
Good times we had together,
we shared all life could throw
but years passed all too quickly,
my time has come to go.
I know how much you miss me,
I know your heart is sore,
I see the tears that fall when
I’m not waiting at the door.
You always did your best for me,
your love was plain to see,
for even though it broke your heart
you set my spirit free.
So please be brave without me,
one day we’ll meet once more,
for when you’re called to heaven,
I’ll be waiting at the door.

hope it helps.
