[Mandarin drake]

Making my lab wear those socks is a very big task. We have got hardwood flooring on our house. He is now old and facing arthritis with trouble maintaining grip, causing scratch marks on my floor. He simply refuses to wear the socks or booties. Any suggestions?

When my dogs are old I normally add some cheapy EBay rugs on the floor to make life easier for them. Another suggestion, back in my competitive Obedience days people used to use Paw Wax on their dog's paws, swearing that it helped prevent their dog from slipping on the floor, I have to say, I've never used it so have no first hand knowledge of it.
