Hello,
We purchased this puppy from a breeder stating he is a black lab! However, we have our doubts. Can someone help us confirm?

Is he registered? It's something which is just about impossible to prove. His tail carriage in the bottom photo is a bit high, but then, thats probably the way he's standing. Puppies change so much as they grow you will just have wait until he matures.

Thanks, John! What about his facial features and color? He seems to be a mix of black and brown...

Labrador heads change quite substantially as they develop. Also at the moment he has his puppy coat, and as the adult coat arrives you will know more about the colour.

The only real confirmation you can have if a puppy is the breed as stated, is if you have relevant kennel club registration documents and if you trust the breeder.
