I'm all covered in hair and smell of puppy breath  And I couldn't be happier!

Just been to see a lovely litter in Gloucestershire - pups are gorgeous and only 3 and a half weeks old, mum and dad are both beautiful and fantastic temperaments - and I have 3 bitches to choose from when they're a bit older! :D

All health certs are in good order....goodness me, all the boxes are ticked...

Fingers crossed everything goes well, I SHOULD have my very own labrador in a month's time!

Thanks Helen and Linda!

The puppies are all black and I *did* take a few photos :D but I probably ought to ask the breeder's permission before posting them on here!

We're liking the name Tessa, have done for ages and have written lists of names but we keep coming back to Tess.

One of the puppies, typically, was fallen in love with by us all (including the OH from the photos). I don't know if she will be chosen by the first two parties who expressed an interest but if she hasn't been...she's ours. They're all so beautiful and snuggly, though. I've had such a wonderful afternoon cuddling and playing with them all! :D :D

Thankyou Margaret - I will have to keep busy won't I?

Ooh, now I can start browsing ebay for kongs and brushes and vetbed and suchlike - that'll fill some time. :D

Noooooo, don't start browsing ebay for puppy things!!! You'll spend a stupid amount of money before the puppy even gets there, you'll run out of room to put it all, then the puppy will play with a single toy for about three seconds then attack your shoes/door/carpet/hands/trousers instead!!

 :D

Ooo how exciting... :)

i know a great way to socialise puppies - come on a mini GT at Stanton Park (nr swindon) - i do 'one' each month (normally last Sunday in the month) - today at our "mini" we had 15 dogs, 9 adults, & 4 kids...

Carlylab, I am DYING to come to a Swindon GT - I read about the last one on the threads and it's not too far away. Stanton park is lovely! Thanks for the invite - I'll be there as soon as I'm able! :D

Hehee thank you too Sheila, I've been dreaming of my own shiny black girl for so long and now I am so excited it's ridiculous!

I took a few although on their site the photos are better quality lol. I'm not sure which one will end up being mine, because it's a bit early to make a choice when they're just 3 and a half weeks old. One of them is so sweet but she's the smallest and possibly not the wisest choice, although she is well and nicely puppy-rounded and just...a wee bit wee. I am in love with her though!

You had better check with them about the photos then - they are LF members
