My 11 year old fable has just been diagnosed with this, have any other lab owners had an experience with this ?

Sorry, it's not something I've come across in dogs, but talking to my neighbour the other day and he is at present undergoing tests for this!

Oh wow, Fable started drinking more a few weeks ago, then she started to slow right down, we used to walk about 5 miles a day across the fields and she loved it. Now she wants to go out for a walk but just plods and sniffs. She is back in to the vets on Wednesday, they are going to sedate her so they can do more tests , she is vet phobic so it is so stressful for us both, they think it maybe her thyroid or anal glands that is causing the high calcium. Luckily my vets have a specialist hospital and have lots of referral’s, so really hope we can get her better soon.

Thyroid is usual, It tends to be a hormonal thing. This is the problem with my neighbour. I shall be interested when the hospital has finished the tests how they treat it. So often the medication used for a condition in humans is the same medication for dogs.
