I've bought a Kong for my puppy but was wondering what age I could give Shirl hide bones etc to chomp on, she's 8 weeks old tomorrow.
I have a soon to be 9 year old lab who was almost 5 months old when we got him so there was no needle teeth etc BUT I have forgotten everything we did when he was a baby.

I will post some pics a soon as hubby sorts some out for me.

I gave the little rawhide chew sticks from 8 weeks, they don't do too much with them at that age a bit of sucking and eventually when it's all soft and squidgy a munch and chew.

I really only give them rawhides when they are young, once they can chew them easily mine tend to shove whole chunks in their mouths in one go and rawhide can be a choke hazard, so i move them onto real bones then.
