GT at Melton CP, Sat 4th October 10.30am...
... followed by a pub lunch...

Information on the park on the link, postcode LE13 1HX for the sat-nav, we tend to gather on the green grassy bank alongside the car park next to the Visitor's Centre/cafe/toilets http://www.goleicestershire.com/thedms.aspx?dms=3&feature=1&venue=2500730

Pub will be http://www.kingsarms-scalford.co.uk/
I'll book tables nearer the time so I will need to know numbers a week or two beforehand (I’ll remind everyone at that point). As it will be October it’ll probably be cold enough that we will have to sit indoors. There is a carpark at the rear of the pub – depending on numbers some/all dogs may have to be left in the cars.

Any queries just ask!

Hopefully me with, probably, Holly...maybe Bryn too, if I can persuade my Chris to come as well. Perhaps if I promise to buy him a beer I might get him along!!!

I'm so pleased there's another GT planned. Freddy and I would love to come but not for all of the walk and the lunch. Would it be okay for his little labby friend, Holly, to come as well with her 'human' mum and dad?

This is miles away from me (plus I have a London Premiership derby to attend that day) but seeing it posted up reminded me of something....

Does anyone know how Cay is getting on with Jack and the gang? Haven't seen anything on here from them for a long old while now.
Hope all is well with them and Jet continues to settle in well.

Enjoy this GT and have a pork pie for us and Judy!

Attention melton GT people, there was a post on Facebook from the Melton council , not to let your dogs in the lake as there has been some contamination, also heard from other people around melton that some dogs have died. I know it is the lab meet on Sat, which we can not come as we are away, so wanted to alert you to this. Please check this out.

I'm afraid we'll not be there after all. I'm stuck at home waiting for the delivery of a new fridge freezer. The old one has died.

Thanks, we saw the post from Melton council yesterday and I'm going to phone them today as the post was a bit vague.
If we can't go to Melton we're looking for another site - but a safe swimming area for up to 20 dogs, with parking, not too much walking and a pub isn't proving easy to find :(
