I am in the team but not Coco!

I will be box-loading (I hope I don't mess up!).

Since Coco started running out at her correct height she can only run with the smaller dogs and we don't have a full team ready yet. We are hopeful that we will have enough other dogs ready in a couple of months so that Coco can compete again.

I felt so disappointed in December because I couldn't go with the team that I have offered to be a helper instead this time and the lack of people means that they are short of a box loader, so I will be making my debut.

(Box loaders get rosettes too if the team is placed :) )

We got third :D

I didn't mess up too badly, just when a couple of the dogs had to run again I put the ball in the wrong side of the box.

Why can't Dilys do flyball?

:) :) :) Well done!

Hope that Coco can enjoy flyball again soon. Luna loved flying up and down the runs but I need a version for her that includes a wide turn before returning nowadays oh... and it'd be best if it involved her running through water too....! Haven't introduced Tucker to flyball... he kind of melts around high-adrenaline dogs at agility so the first snappy, excited collie within sight and he'd be running for my legs or the safety of the car with a 'help' distressed look on his face!!

Well Done YOU!!!!

Quote Pam (Coco-Loco):- "Why can't Dilys do Flyball?"

Dilys is a Welsh puppy farm ex-breeding bitch. We adopted her at approx. 18 months, she had been pregnant twice, the second time resulting in a caesarean and a litter of dead puppies. Cassie was 10 (going on 10 months) and tried so hard to help Dilys to understand play and "lust for life". I took Dilys to dog training, basically for socialisation and we passed KC Bronze and Silver, but when she did recall she would only "toddle" to me. If she did a "trot" our Trainer would shout "Turbo is on form tonight!!!" (somebody would always give him a slap!). This was a wonderful Trainer that that helped Me an' Dil so much :D

Sorry for the "ramble" - - - OK, Dilys couldn't do Flyball - - - but I bet she could help load the box!!

Aaawww poor Dilys.

Coco might be running with a different team at Easter, the lady who helps run my club was talking to another team who are looking for a non-collie to run with their multi-breed team so we're going to have a try out with them with a view to joining them for multi-breed events this summer. In multi-breed competitions you can run with a different team without needing to transfer on a permanent basis.

I'm hoping we can get a second team together in time for the BFA championships in August, I really, really want to go again.
