Here is just a quick note to wish Alison the best of luck and hope she enjoys her judging at Richmond Championship Show this weekend.

PMSL! Karl - thanks but I shouldnt think anyone on LF is the slightest bit interested! LOL!

I am judging Groenendael's & Lakenois!!

I had to google too, as I had never heard of Groenendaels or Lakenois.

Looks like they are all sub-divisions of the Belgian Shepherd breed? Is that right?

Hope you enjoy the day. I think Belgian Shepherds are lovely dogs, and know a guy who keeps one around here too. :D

Hi Helen yes they are two varieties of Belgian Shepherds - the others being Malenois & Terveurens.

I have been judging them for 10 years now and am now on the A3 list to be able to award Challenge Certificates in any of the 4 varieties.

Couldnt get more different from Labbies if your tried!

Wow, I didn't recognise the types of Belgians until you said that Alison....we have 3 different types come to our kennels......sweet dogs.....chase anything they can!!! :)

Have fun judging...but I did think you would be judging the labs :lol:
