Just thought I would post to let you know how she is doing.
She came home on Friday and was in a lot of pain, She had a ok night heard her a few times yelping in pain. But since then night times have been quiet.
She is still on pain killers and they seem to be working for her.
In the day she is in her crate out for a wee then back in again and she seems to be coping ok with this so far...... She has her kong and raw hides to keep her entertained.
She will not climb the 2 steps to go out into the back garden she just looks up at me as if to say "well you picking me up then  "
I'm just so pleased to have her home and she is getting back to her cheeky self again.
I know it is a long road and lead walks for at least 3 months but I can start to see an improvement from Friday already. the hard part will be trying to stop her doing the things she thinks she can do 8O
Will keep you informed
Christine

great news Christine,as each day passes she'll be feeling better.Glad she's settled in the crate ok and is being a good girl. Are you allowed to take her out for very short walks or are you stuck in the garden for now???I'm sure she's glad to be home and am glad her pain seems to be under control.Keep up the good work

Good to hear Ella is doing well, probably best to carry her up and down the steps, at least for now :)

She is doing fine in her crate but just allowed out in the back garden for a wee then back in again.
Will be seeing the specialist again on the 9th September so i'm hoping I can take her out a bit then :? .
Starting to wean off the pain killers now and only one yelp this afternoon so she is coming on quickly.
