Announced today, the BVA have restarted hip scoring and are working to setup a "Sustainable remote scoring option" so scoring should no longer get interrupted.

Fantastic news! Hopefully by the time I can get Branta's done they will have caught up or be close to catching up with the backlog!

Eyes will remain a problem, but I'm not quite so worried about them. If the last test was in 2019 and the dog is DNA tested for PRA then the breeder has done the best they can, and I would be happy to accept that. I'm anticipating that covid will calm down in the summer once vaccinations start having an effect, and breeders will then have a chance to catch up.

I managed to get Branta tested last year, October time, and I am not planning a litter in the near future it would just be nice to get her hips and elbows done as well
