New vet said if he hadn't been told her history he would've given Luna a clean bill of health yesterday!!!!!! :D

I've been preparing for xrays, specialists and crate rest :( and instead it's keep doing as we are, gradually building her up to pre-stress fracture/OCD diagnosis exercise levels!!!! :D :D :D

He hopes as her muscle mass increases and she finishes growing that the small joint problems on the Apr xray will rectify!! The amount of flex she had in her elbows was great and there was no sign of discomfort (she is a pain-hider though!) so he's confident there are no floating bits in the joints. He checked her shoulders thoroughly too.

I'm sooooooooooo pleased with my little loony!!!!!!!! :D :D :D

Edited to ask what the vet said about the snowberries? I'm guessing Luna had no more adverse effects from them?

Luna says thank you soooo much for being pleased for her and me! There are so many new dogs to make friends with in the neighbourhood so now she'll be allowed to with less worry!!

Anita - I did ask the vet about the snowberries and he hadn't any idea if they would cause problems without delving through books. It wasn't something that anyone else had come to him about! I guess I'd taken up enough of the appointment time going through everything else I had to ask! Luna was absolutely fine after being sick - poo and all! But I still don't know if the berries are trouble or not. I've decided to chop down the plants anyhow just to be on the safe side, they look rather leggy and half dead anyhow. The fences are keeping Luna away from falling berries and apples successfully for the moment and I'm doing some work on OFF with the berries too.

Wendy - Thanks but I won't need Graham's number! :D Despite how wonderful he is, at this point in time I'm glad I won't be meeting him soon!!
