I thought I'd share a panorama that I made today. I headed out to the vantage point on one of the mountains during "golden hour" (the hour before sunset) and decided to make a panorama of the Brecon Beacon's from the Rhigos Mountain. I live only a 10min drive from the view point so was really easy to get to, although unfortunately not a safe place for me to take Lilly too.

Super picture, (as are your other pics) Go on then, tell us how you did it, Camera? Lens?
Gary and Toby.
It's a Canon EOS 600D with the kit lens 18-55mm II IS so no fancy lenses, just took multiple images making sure I over lapped a little with each one. I used a tripod to make sure the camera was stable. ISO 100 f/8.0 AV mode and just let the camera do it's thing. I used the stitching software that came with the camera to turn it into a panorama lol.

Thanks for the compliment.

It's a lovely area. I occasionally used to do work at a factory close to the Beacons at Ystalyfera. When I was there I normally stayed at a hotel at Pontadawe.

Regards, John
