Back in the 1920's there was a noted Champ Lab called "Banchory Bolo" whose progeny often had white hairs on their pads

Today any Lab that has white hairs on their pads are said to have "Bolo Pads" and are thought to be of the same lineage as Banchory

Cheers

Hi
NigelB and lancelot are right. They are white hairs growing between their pads, a trait said to be thrown by Banchory Bolo, the first dual champion. I can trace my boys pedigree back to Banchory Bolo, over and over, lost count of how many times he appears in there, given that I'm looking at around 15 or more generations back - it's alot. :)
