Bailey is 8 this year but having watched a program on dog food im not sure what to feed him for the best ? He wouldn't like to eat raw bones etc as when he has them he isn't too keen and ends up bringing little bits of bones up throughout the night.

He has always been on JWB but as he is 8 this year is there a better food to suit his age ? if you know what i mean :D

Thanks Sarah

I'm very much of the opinion that if it ain't broke don't fix it.

So if he's doing well on JWB then why not stick with it. :)

I think JWB is a pretty good food for a dry food, isn't it? If he was on something like Bakers, I'd suggest changing him, but if he's doing ok on it.

I have never moved mine to a senior food. I just keep feeding them the same and adjust amounts etc. as I feel necessary. I do start giving mine a joint supplement now when they get to around 7/8 years of age, just a personal decision I made after some reading I did a while back.

I would just leave him be if he's fine on the JWB - Yumove is a very good joint supplement, first one to have benefited my very arthritic Lab.
