At last I've found a training class in the Isle of Lewis! Brady's first "lesson" (and my own come to think of it!) is on Monday night, looking forward to it very much

Anyone got any tips on what I should bring to the class - apart from his lead? Should I bring treats or anything else?

Hi,

I hope you and your dog enjoy the classes, my instructor told me to take:

. Small knibbles, broken biscuits/treats for training.
. Poo bags ( very important).
. A light webbing collar and lead - no choke/check chains! ( I am sure you don't use them, just thought i would mention it).
.? Squeaky toy to keep your dogs attention if he/she prefers toys to treats.
. and, of course, yourself and puppy!!!

Hope this helps,

Cristina & Ben

yup we used the APDT site to find a trainer, and I must say they were very good (not cheap!).

Molly has graduated from her beginner class, they wanted to get her on the advanced, but I;d rather let her have some time being a puppy! (sh'es only 5months old!)...
I may start her on that course in June..
