Just thought id put on a quick post with an update on our pup Holly, who was bitten by another dog this week.
Today was her first puppy class and hubbie took her along - with shaved ear, stitches and head collar. Apparently (with as much details as i ever really get from him :roll
she did really well.
She was a bit frightened i think at first but got lots of attention and fuss (the sympathy vote!) from other owners, which she loves and apparently she began to join in and get a bit more confident with other pups by end of session, although apparently she was quietest there - gave hubby an easy ride i think!! So Im glad we took here - more next week and in between times i'm racking my brains for a very pup friendly dog she could perhaps visit!!
She's still abit subdued generally - yesterday a.m. she spent mostly in bed and i must admit i was a bit concerned and spoke to vet. But he felt this was okay - possibly still a bit of shock/effects of anaesthetic and as long as she was eating & drinking , not to worry.
However, not long after this , in fact whilst i was trying to post on this site, she snuck up and bit through the connection cable!!! 8O so shes definitely on the mend.
I think she'll bve trying to rule the roost again in no time - and in the meantime at least her huge collar has stopped her diving down the back of the sofa
