I’m looking to adopt a black Labrador bitch, she must be house trained, good with children and able to live with another Labrador. I currently have a 9 year old girl, I lost my older girl 2 years ago. I’ve had labradors in my life for the past 35 years, 5 in total. I live in the north-east of Scotland in a house with a large enclosed garden. I live in a small village with plenty walks available.

Although we do allow rescues to post we do not allow puppy sales or private exchanges type posts I'm afraid.

Get in touch with a breed rescue, I'm sure there's one for Scotland. Also if you get in touch with a breed club they may be able to put you in touch with someone rehoming an older dog rather than a puppy.

I've just seen an advert from a rescue organisation on facebook, they have a three year old black Labrador dog up for foster/adoption, and need to find a home for him urgently. Email address if you want to find out more is [email protected]
