Hello

Im new here. I have a 6 month old lab called Bella. Since yesterday she has been asking to go to the toilet alot. But just ends up straining with either very little soft pellets or diarrhea coming out. Ive put her on a soft food instead of her Skinners field n trial in the hope it will clear her through.

She is a tyoical lab and chews everything- should I be concerned about a blockage?

Thank you

Hi, it's impossible for anyone here to tell you whether your dog has a blockage or not. If you're concerned she may have, please at least phone your vet - you should be able to have a chat on the phone, describe symptoms, what is coming out at the end etc. and see what they think.

I don't wish to seem rude and I really hope she's ok, but seemingly trivial symptoms described on the internet can turn out to be serious and vice versa :flower: Straining and only having small amounts coming out, can be a sign of a blockage I think, but I can't see your dog and I'm not a vet.

I hsve spoken to a vet and she is being seen in an hour.

I was wondering if anyone had a similar experience not looking for a diagnosis online.
