Hello!
I’m just after some tips/advice for my 10 week old lab - bitting carpets, wallpaper, sofa, us when excited .... I grew up with a lab, but he never did this. I know it’s a common puppy thing and I’ve removed him, told him no, removed him and tried ignoring him as he definitely knows he shouldn’t be doing certain things and is trying to get a reaction. He is absolutely lovely, but feel he is having his “terrible twos”!!!

It is just a puppy thing, and they honestly don't know they shouldn't do it, that will come with time. I've got a 10 month old who is still a little bit mouthy occasionally (as in grabby with her mouth, not barking), but she is starting to learn now that biting isn't allowed. Just be consistent with him, so if playing then pop a toy in his mouth if he tries to bite hands etc, as he is bound to want to get hold of something, after all their mouth is the equivalent of our hands.
