SuzanneL Jet ate chappie for years- then went off it but apart from pasta/rice and chicken/eggs/fish wont touch anything else- he sort of ate naturediet- but it seems to have given him colitis- 2 nights back on chappie not over fussed and the lengths we have had to go to get him to eat them!!!

I've had no real luck getting him to eat anything else- luckily dustbin guts Willow sorts out anything we buy thats left.

My brother keeps reminding me he's a dog and when he's hungry he'll eat it! That I shouldnt Pander to his silly ways-I know who is the boss I tell him and he just raises his eyebrows!
(whisper) My Mum reckons he's not a real Lab as no self respecting lab would turn his nose up at anything!!(whisper)

They continue to be a worry and I have no answer for you Sorry-Have you tried the dry chappie complete food- clutching at straws here

gone off chappie!!!!!

Hi All,

Oscar doesn't seem interested in his food..... we use chappie mixed with a complete mix which we get from the kennels we rehomed him from. Lately he doesn't seem to bothered about his food... unlike most labs, if you start making their dinner you can see the excitment in their eyes... Oscar just lays down in the dining room and when you put down his food he sometimes needs to coaxing to get him to his bowl! Something told me it could be the chappie so yesterday i just gave him the biscuits mixed with gravey and he ate it all, last night was just biscuits and this morning was biscuits and warm water... he seems to be eating this...

but..... if i don't feed him chappie what can i feed him on... the chappie helped him to be 'firm' when he went to the toilet whereas the buscuits don't really help with that....

Oo any help would be appreciated.

Thank you
