Default Old list of Many Tears labs, no longer being updated

Any available dogs from this list have been added to the new listing

Here is a list of all the labs and some of the lab crosses currently available via Many Tears Animal Rescue. I will try to update every couple of weeks so hopefully the info on here will be quite accurate.

To find out more about any of these dogs and for the most up to date information, or better still to fill in the adoption form, visit http://www.manytearsrescue.org/dogslookingforhomes.php and search on the dog's name, or on labrador as the breed.

Please do consider taking on an ex-breeding labrador - they are so rewarding.

Here are some new arrivals at Many Tears.

Bella - a 7 year old female white lab. Bella has lived as a breeding girl and is very scared of the wide world. She loves to play ball with her doggy friends.

Bella is being fostered by ME in Pencader, Carmarthenshire

Scooby - an 8 year old male yellow lab. Scooby has been a stud dog all his life and is looking forward to some home comforts.

Scooby is at Many Tears centre near Llanelli

Jinga - a beautiful 1 year old female yellow lab. Jinga is hugely bouncy and in need of some training and manners, but is a stunning girl.

Jinga is at Many Tears Centre near Llanelli

Bubbles - a 6 year old lab cross Golden Retriever. Bubbles would love a home with her lifelong friend Jo-jo. She is a happy friendly girl.

Bubbles is at Many Tears Centre near Llanelli

Jo-Jo is a 7 year old female yellow lab. Jo-jo has lived all her life with her friend Bubbles, and MT are looking for a home for both together. Jo-jo has a problem with her hips which is being looked at.

Jo-jo is at Many Tears Centre near Llanelli

Willow is a 2 years old female yellow lab. A pocket labrador, what Willow lacks in size she makes up for in exuberance! Willow is a bouncy puppy in an adult body, and will benefit from training. RESERVED

Willow is at Many Tears Centre near Llanelli

Holly - a 4 year old female black lab cross, possibly with flatcoat. Holly is a big girl who loves people.

Holly is at Many Tears Centre near Llanelli

Rosey - a 6 year old female choc lab. Rosey was given up by her family as they didn't have time for her any more. She is a friendly chunky girl with a huge zest for life, and loves playing ball. Slightly lacking in basic training and manners, Rosey will be a rewarding project for a lucky person. RESERVED

Rosey is being fostered by ME! in Pencader, Carmarthenshire.

Alli - a 5 year old female yellow lab cross. Alli is sweet and playful and has had some training. Alli is not available for adoption at the moment as she is pregnant.

Alli is being fostered by Mambosmum in Fishguard.

Ellie is a 2 year old female yellow lab cross. Ellie is a boisterous girl who needs some training.

Ellie is at Many Tears Centre near Llanelli

Alexanda is a 3 month old male black lab cross. They were a mistake; mum was a lab cross and dad a full lab. RESERVED

Presley - a 3 year old male yellow lab. Presley is an ex-stud dog who needs a gentle canine companion to show him the way in his new home.

Presley is being fostered in Lampeter, Ceredigion

Promise - a 3 year old female black lab. Promise has been a breeding dog, and is a bit overweight. She loves attention!

Promise is being fostered in Ripley, Surrey.

Captain - a 1 year old male lab cross. Captain is a lively intelligent chap who would love a home and a job. RESERVED

Captain is at Many Tears Centre near Llanelli

Brambly - an 8 year old female chocolate lab. Brambly is an ex-breeding girl who has lived her whole life with her sister Angel. They depend on each other a lot and are looking for a comfy retirement home together

Brambly is being fostered in Southampton

Angel - an 8 year old female choc lab. Angel has lived on a breeding farm and is looking for a quiet retirement home with her sister Brambly. They are available for adoption by donation rather than a fixed adoption fee to make taking them together a bit easier.

Angel is being fostered in Southampton

Sasha - a nearly-two year old female lab x boxer. Sasha was adopted as a youngster but her family now don't have time to exercise her. She has lived with children.

Sasha is being fostered in Swansea

Update: First and best news for me - my foster girlie Melyn (Dolly here) had her op yesterday and vet thinks the lump was contained and a sufficient margin was taken to ensure the op was curative. Of course, her adopters will need to be vigilant for any recurrence. I'll do a separate thread with photos and more info.

Other updates: Cadbury is reserved, and Mallow, Musket, Rosy and Aussie have all gone to their new homes.

Chaz has reappeared on the list. I thought he had been adopted, but rather he's gone to a foster home.

Thanks for looking.

So many. It's quite heart breaing to think what their lives must have been like so far but hopefully they will get a bright new start soon. I can't stop thinking about the look on poor Minstrel's face. I only wish we had the space.

Here is a little update for Given,
now 15wks old and a serious cuddle monster, almost house-trained and will, if given supper, sleep all through the night!!

He really really needs a forever-home, one with experienced active people and no cats or other furries
He is a very quick learner, and a very happy lad!!

Update: I have added 3 new dogs to the list. A gorgeous young choc lab girlie, who I'm sure won't be looking for a new home for long, and two sisters who are lab rotti crosses who I'm sad to say probably will be looking quite a while, as black dogs and rotti types don't tend to fly out of rescues.

Lucky Minstrel has gone to a foster home, with Emeraldlady, and old gent Chaz and lively boy Bing are both reserved.

Update: Three more gorgeous labs added to the list - a 5 year old yellow girlie who has lost her home through no fault of her own, and two beautiful pups.

Other updates - Given is reserved and Willow and Bing have both left for their forever homes! Be happy Willow and be good Bing!!
