I posted a similar thing a few weeks ago - and I know that Mahsa is a LOT younger - but I think the ignore, clean up and try and get the dog into a routine is the key.

I take Mahsa out at bedtime (normally 10:30) and wait out with her until she 'goes' and then she's into her utility room/bedroom and in her crate.

6:30 in the morning and she's let out and no fuss no poo.

Winner. A routine. That's the future.

Do you dry him with a towel? You can also use a hairdryer on cool if he'll let you. You could use the foam and just brush him too as it doesn't have to be rinsed I just do because I'm odd like that!

Vet is definately a good idea. It sound like illness rather than lack of routine I very much doubt he's doing it on purpose.

It does sound like the food isn't agreeing tbh. I find that a piece of white bread just stuffed in a kong helps with the loose motions so maybe try that.

How about changing the Iams to something like Burns or Arden Grange or Wainwrights Salmon and Potato, Skinners, all very popular on here and not expensive, good ingredients and Burns has a reputation for keeping the weight down which might be good from your point of view.

Good luck.
