Default Agility training day ?? ANOTHER Location query p5...

As the gundog world is currently monopolising this area of the forum!!

I just wondered if there would be any interest??

I know of a few trainers now who are based in various areas of the country so I'm sure one of them would be up for a bit of labbie fun for a day/morning/afternoon!

I was thinking a bit of training followed by a bit of a fun competition could be a laugh!!??

I'd love to get Charlie involved in agility, but there appears to be nothing local to us :? x

Ellie would want to try I think though she may still be too young at 9 months.

I go to Wendy Hill for our puppy/young dog training and I know she is an Agility trainer and has a good set up at her home both indoor and outdoor facilities.

Well there is enthusiasm!!

I'll put out the feelers for trainers near Brough and Swansea and get back to you if I hear anything - know of no-one off the top of my head...

As for the youngster labs... in my opinion you wouldn't want to do 'proper' agility BUT giving them a taster of a tunnel, running through jump wings, walking along a plank, sit staying and recalling,.... could give you a taster/trial at what and how you can start to prepare them even around the house and garden and on walks...

This is all Tucker at 15months is up to at the moment although I'm letting him jump very low jumps and he's so good on the plank that I let him do a really low dogwalk!
