 If it was at the very end of the afternoon, the shouting would've been me Irene ops:. Steve set up a really tricky long blind with a long mark distraction. Bootsie lad didn't take a line and I just can't be having that at this late stage with a trial run looming.... we've done lining drills on blinds until it's coming out of our ears... so I had a bout of training tourettes. Apologies to all in Northumberland and beyond who heard me ops: I'm nervous about forthcoming run, and am a nice quiet girl usually, honest!

If it was in the morning, it was Loz I think

ps I've accidentally come away with a couple of dummies that aren't mine. I'll get them back to you Loz/Steve.

Heather you'll have to come back with gorgeous Shadow sometime - you need to work on your frostbite and suntan  As for any yelling during the afternoon - I heard nothing - after a severe drenching just walking Max round the meadows - I retired to the games room.

Good luck for Thursday Moj - he'll do you proud

Karen; glad you two made it home OK, weather looked apalling on the way down.

a good day at the end of a very busy weekend

Strauss was a bit bewildered by the group of dogs, but it was nice to get him involved despite his health problems

Ghillie sung like a choir boy in the line, tried to run in 3 times and then eyewiped Karen and Skye before I had to retire to adjust my knee brace and I dumped him back in the car

The Reiffel came out with his usual unasuming manner and completed two lovely retrieves. I love that dog

Was nice to meet Gavin and Harley for the first time and young Max who did really well and made us all smile. Lovely to see Danny again too 8)

Thanks everyone for an enjoyable day despite the weather

...and what a brilliant eyewipe it was Julia Steve said it was my fault as I'd mismarked it, as usually she'd eat retrieves like that for breakfast you know what a "sneck" she has on her

...and must come clean - think it probably was me that you heard bellowing. Had to shout to be heard over the driving rain

At least Karen is now accepting resposibility for all the shouting instead of trying to blame me
I don't think a loud word crossed my lips all day  !

Good luck to Moj too for the up coming trail, fingers crossed for you.

Well done to all, not a nice day to take the dogs for a walk never mind standing around training.

I think Shady is organising one more in Nov, before a short break in the monthly training days, due to the christmas/ new year period.

See you all in nov hopefully.

Good luck Moj on thursday at Glen Almond.
