Can anyone advise what i do in this situation?

George banged or did something to his elbow, we went to the vets he said it was swollen and gave us some drugs, he took them and now seems okay back to normal after a few weeks.

Obviously this will be on his vet record.

Do i let John Lewis know now of this event or not?

As in if in a year or something he get elbow dysplasia, could they say he had a problem with his elbow last year we're not paying.

I'm unsure how all this works, how would they know or not?
What if i was to change vets, would his records go too?
Any visit to the vets like this i need to let the insurance company know straight away?

George is with John Lewis so wondered if anyone knew?

I dont mind letting them know as want him fully covered if god forbid something bad happens.

Thanks for any help :)
It will be recorded and dated so if they check and date was before you took insurance out they will not pay but if it was done while insured and you did not claim because you have to pay first £75 and vet bill was say £85 not worth it but it was recorded will be fine.
Thanks Nige65.

The bill was about 45quid or something, it was a couple of weeks ago and we've had insurance since we got him at 8 weeks; he's 9 months now.

So leave letting them know till renewal time perhaps?
