Default Leuchtie collars, has anyone used them

I know that winter is slowly passing but i have just read about these in my camping and caravaning magazine and wondered if anyone had an experience of them.

I often walk early in the morning or late at night when it is dark and at the moment i have no lights on my 2 and luckily they never roam to far in the park. I used to have polybright collars but i seem to have mislaid them. These look very bright and i might give them a try.

Yes I have one. They are fab. Very bright, and very long lasting. My one has been used all winter and still going strong (no battery changes). I like the fact it runs off normal duracell batteries rather than those harder to find little disc things. It's been swimming with the dogs, pulled and chewed by two staffies and still, absolutely perfect.

The downside is the cost at apprx. 30. I looked at stocking these for a shop of mine (staffie one) and did some research and no one I spoke to wanted to pay over 15 no matter how hard I sold it to them

Thanks for the info, yeah the price is high but if they last it'll be worth it. I've tried loads of different collars, i started with ones from PAH for about 8-10 and they didn't last long at all. The plastic coating around the light cracked and split after a few weeks making them useless.
The polybright ones i had last were good but i saw these and wondered if they were worth a go.

these look fantastic... what i like most is that they're waterproof... i'd definately buy one for alfie if i walked him in the dark often enough to make it worth spending that money but i rarely do :? I have a 1.99 light up collar which i got in a sale and they work fine for what i need.

Just did a search on these collars as I'm being very organised and getting one lined up for winter (as I was buying some other stuff at the same time), just wanted to know what sort of size people have been using?

Milos' head measured 53cm, so I ordered the 55cm one which came up huge! I've just swapped it for the 50cm, and that slips on very easily but gapes quite alot at the sides, especially if he has his nose to the floor, not sure if the 45cm would be ok or if it would be too small, so wondered what others who have them are using?

If you look on the website that Helen (Barney2007) has linked to, above, it will tell you how to measure it properly And they're still doing 15% off.

I did measure as specified, which is how I got the 53cm, it's just the 50cm still gapes quite a bit so wondered what sizes others were using.
