Default Floors colder than warm body laying on top=wet bedding

Dogs don't sweat, urine smells and condensation happens. When the floor is colder than what's on top, bedding will get wet. Solution: Raise the bed off the floor. If you do have some space between the bed and the floor, as OP states, but bedding is still getting wet, then there's not enough space to compensate for the difference in temperature; raise the bed higher, at least 2 inches, 3 is better.
