I am interested in learning as much as I can on our dogs body language, their psychology and trying to understand what they are thinking.
Have looked at numerous websites and book/video stores but it appears to be a mine field as there are so many and I just have not got a clue which to get.
Please can any of you advise me which are the best and most informative ones and also that are written/filmed in such a way that an 'idiot' like myself can understand.
For books that are more of an in depth read I would recommend books by Stanley Corens 'how dogs think' and 'the intelligence of dogs' he has a few more titles if you enjoy them but they do get partly repetitve.
On a complete other end of the spectrum because it's more fluffy, but some find it thought provoking 'bones would rain from the sky' by suzanne clothier.
I have heaps of books tbh, I'll have a scout over the book shelf and see if any other spring to mind as good to recommend
Edited to add: another stanley coren 'how to speak dog'.
'the other end of the leash' patricia Mcconnell - more 'fluffy' than corens but less so than 'bones would rain from the sky'
when i say fluffy I mean more soft, emotional, story telling 9easier read?) than say science, history and in depth study
Many thanks for your replies, will certainly have a look at them.
Sorry for the delay, did not know anyone had replied as I did not get any emails advising me although I have the box ticked in my account.
